Content of the study

In this study, we analyse the rapidly growing segment of service, maintenance and repair services in technical building equipment (TBE). By 2030, the market in Germany will grow by around 8 per cent annually, with a current volume of approximately 20 billion euros. The drivers are increasing regulatory requirements, greater complexity in buildings and a growing focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

The study shows that TBE services are becoming increasingly important, particularly recurring maintenance services that ensure the long-term operation and value retention of properties. In addition, the service business is proving to be more resilient to market fluctuations and offers long-term growth prospects through digitalisation and predictive maintenance.
