S&B Strategy advises HomeServe Germany on the acquisition of Scheer Heizung und Sanitär GmbH

Our team advised HomeServe Germany, a portfolio company of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners, on the acquisition of Scheer Heizung und Sanitär GmbH. The transaction was signed in May 2025.

HomeServe is one of the leading SHK trade groups focusing on private end customers and residential construction. With a presence in eight countries and a total of approximately 9,000 employees, HomeServe focuses on actively strengthening trade companies in the respective regions by bundling central functions so that the companies can concentrate on consulting, installation and service in the HVAC and electrical trades. With this acquisition, HomeServe will strengthen its presence in the greater Hamburg area.

Hammer is an established HVAC company in the greater Hamburg area that focuses on private end customers. With a clearly focused service portfolio in the installation and maintenance of sanitary and heating systems as well as wastewater, Scheer, with around 53 employees, is able to reliably implement technically sophisticated solutions for its customers. With the help of HomeServe's resources, Scheer will be able to offer innovative solutions and services that meet changing customer needs and pursue a long-term growth strategy with the existing management team.

Our team comprehensively supported HomeServe as lead M&A advisor throughout the acquisition process to successful signing and with operational due diligence.
