S&B Strategy advises AUCTUS Capital Partners on acquisitions within the UPFRONT GROUP

Our team advised AUCTUS Capital Partners on the establishment of the UPFRONT GROUP as part of its buy-and-build strategy. The underlying acquisitions were completed by March 2026.

With over 470 portfolio companies, AUCTUS Capital Partners is one of the most active private equity firms focusing on European SMEs. The focus is on majority stakes in companies with turnover of €10–150 million. Currently, more than 35 investment experts manage around 50 platform investments comprising over 200 individual companies and an aggregate annual turnover of more than €4 billion.

The UPFRONT GROUP is an integrated platform for building envelope solutions, currently comprising four group companies (Rossmanith GmbH, EngFle Baugesellschaft mbH, Heidersberger Gruppe and Rudolf Schweiger Abdichtung und Isolierbau-GmbH & Co. KG), with over 500 employees and a total turnover of approximately €150 million. The group brings together specialised medium-sized companies to offer a cross-material range of services across the entire building envelope value chain, from planning and execution to after-sales service, covering trades such as roofing and facades as well as various materials.

By combining complementary areas of expertise, a high-performing network is created, offering economies of scale and cross-selling potential. At the same time, the platform addresses key market drivers such as energy efficiency, sustainability and increasing technical complexity. The core market is currently still Germany, with prospects for international expansion.
