S&B Strategy advises EGC on the acquisition of Green Way Energy

Our team provided comprehensive advice to EGC on the acquisition of Green Way Energy GmbH. The transaction was signed in April 2025.

EGC, a leading energy service provider based in Düsseldorf, entered into a strategic partnership with KKR in February 2025 to position itself as a long-term decarbonisation partner for the real estate industry. The company currently manages a real estate portfolio of more than 2 million square metres and 800 heating centres for over 100 customers. Its services include heat supply, tenant electricity solutions and comprehensive energy management.

Green Way Energy is an energy contracting company based in Berlin that offers ecological supply solutions and focuses on the economically sustainable reduction of CO₂ emissions in new and existing properties. Founded five years ago by partners Fabian Seifert and Jochen Fürniß, the company has quickly earned an excellent reputation in the industry.

Our team accompanied EGC as lead M&A advisor throughout the entire acquisition process – from start to successful signing – and also supported the buyer with the implementation of a commercial due diligence.
